Abigail Vernon, known as “Abby,” is currently a South Carolina based actress. She developed a passion for singing and performing at a young age, harmonizing with her grandmother, Mommom Annie! She recently graduated from DeSales University with a B.A. in Theatre, a minor in Business, and high honors. This year, Abigail rejoins Charleston Stage’s company of Resident Actor’s for their 48th season! She will be living in Charleston, SC until May 2026. Afterwards she will be headed to New Jersey.

Abigail made it her mission in life to put a smile on people's faces and share her gift and the joy she felt on stage with everyone she met. She approached every production she was in as an opportunity to touch hearts, uplift spirits, and leave a lasting impression of happiness in the lives of those she entertained.

When not performing, Abigail spends time with her beautiful four sisters, twin brother, loving parents, and two “Irish Doodles:” Tess and Murphy!  She is an accomplished Irish dancer, Orientation Leader, avid skier, and reader. She has the amazing and accessible opportunity of living right in between Philadelphia and New York City, where she spends as much time seeing live Theatre as possible!
